【Maintenance】クーラント交換+アルミヘッダータンク
ラジエーター交換時（'06/07/17 22,000km）から全く触れていなかったクーラントを交換しました。
いろいろ同時作業を目論んでいたのですが、時間・作業効率・準備の関係上、叶ったのはヘッダータンクのみだったのが、ちと残念ですが、これ以上先送りにすると本格的に不味そうだったので。
というわけで、ヘッダータンクも取り替えるし、作業効率もいいので、エンジンフード取り外し。
フード取り外しは結構慣れてきたんですが、一人で外すのは無理ですね。腕が足りません。
フロントアンダーパネル内、ラジエータ側からクーラントをあらかた抜いて、
全交換＋ウォーターライン清掃のためインパクト繋いで、送り側からお湯を圧送しつつ、エンジン掛けてヒーターつけて循環。
古いクーラントが出てくる出てくる。
写真では確認できませんが、油膜が出てきてオイル混じりなのが良くわかります。
きったね。
クーラントの色が消えても、オイルが沈殿してできた思われる、カスがどんどん出てくる。
ヘッダータンクにもすごい勢いでカスがこびりついていたので、ある程度覚悟してましたがこれほどとは…
綺麗になったのでヘッダータンク取り付けです。
FlexのS2エリーゼローバーK用です。
さすが、国産パーツ！しっかりボルトオン！
クーラントは外車ということで、BMWの純正クーラントにしました。
色はブルー。
クーラントを入れて、ラジエターホースを気合で戻し、エア抜きして終了。
さすがにエア抜きはしきれないので、走るたびにレベルゲージ確認と負圧抜き。
純正ヘッダータンクに比べるとかなりコンパクトなので、これなら助手席側インテークからオルタネーターまでの導風ダクトを設置できそうです。
気になるのは、クーラントに浮いていたオイルカス。
ウォーターラインに組み付け時からあった油分、ラジエター交換時に新品ラジエター内に含まれていた油分と考えてもいいのですが、コレほどまでに浮いてるとさすがに｢ヘッドガスケット抜けの兆候｣と捉えておいた方がよさそうです。
