【Modify】ブレーキパッド交換。
先日ブレーキパッドの交換しました。
換えるならエンドレスと決めていたので、BSK(ボディショップ小林)のショップオリジナルのエンドレスにしました。
街乗りが90%占めているので、「ストリート」「セミレーシング」「フルレース」の中からストリートタイプにしました。
ストリートタイプのスペックは、
ブレーキロータ適性温度域 約40℃〜500℃
摩擦係数 0.38〜0.45
とのことなので、エンドレスラインナップのCC-A相当ではないかと思います。
純正との比較(リア)。
どこかで、社外のブレーキパッドが形状が違ったというのを見ましたが、問題ありませんでした。
真ん中にガス抜きを狙ったスリットが入っています。
さすが純正パッド！
少なくとも15,000km以上(サーキット走行2回含)使ったはずなのに2mm減ってませんでした。
ちなみにこの純正パッド、バックプレートが接着剤で止まっていて外す事ができませんでした。
それと、パッド交換の際にヤスリで軽ーくパッドの面取りをしてたんですが、塗装がバリバリ剥がれた。
t2氏が丁寧に組んでくれたのでバックプレートなしでも多少の鳴きはありますが、カタカタ音はしません。感謝。
ちなみに僕のエリーゼのキャリパーはフロントがAPレーシング、リアはブレンボが純正で入ってました。
フロントのパッド交換の際、キャリパー単体で持ってみたのですが、その軽さにちょっと吃驚しました。リアのブレンボは…。
ローターの摩耗具合。
目算で1mm前後ありましたね。次回パッド交換時はローターも交換したいと思います。

1つだけ、一部崩れ落ちてるパッドがありました。
いやぁ何事もなく交換まで持ってくれてて良かった。
交換後のインプレですが、パッドの当たりの出し方とかよくわからないので、ブレーキを軽く踏みながら走ったり、安全な所で60Km/hぐらいからフルブレーキ(踏力不足)したりしてみました。
最初はフカフカした感じでしたが、その後はペダルタッチもよくなり、純正よりもブレーキは効く感じです。
ペダルの脳内ストロークを0-100%として純正と比較すると、20%ぐらいまでの制動力が結構上がった感じ。30%以上になるとあまり違いが感じないのですが、60%以上も上がった感じです。フルブレーキ時はロックしにくくなっていい感じです。
それと純正は雨天で全く効かないブレーキでしたが、それもドライと同等まではいかないけれども全然効きます。
ブレーキの鳴きについては極低速(ほぼ止まるぐらいの速度)では微妙に鳴きますが、全然気になりません。
さくさくっと駐車するぐらいなら、ほとんど鳴かないかと。
